We say it time and time again: we'd love to do more work for the music industry (you know, printing for bands, labels, bars and other venues, etc.). Being passionate about both music and printing, it only makes sense for us that we'd naturally migrate toward this type of work. That said, we did a job for DJ Shadow recently that required four separate six-color prints, for which we used simulated six-color process printing.
Check out the pictures below for a demonstration of how each color adds to the overall image. We hit the white with two coats for better opacity. Additionally, the grey has a pretty minimal effect on the image, but we included it regardless for some additional shading benefits.
